[ML] No RSS

OK - running ML and all is fine. But why did they remove the builtin RSS reader from Mail and Safari. Dorks.

I wouldn't know this from experience as my wife is the Mac OS user, but just recently I read that there is a Safari extension that attempts to restore this functionality.

Apparently it has some problems (namely with websites that have multiple feeds) but it might help you out.

There are also a number of RSS apps in the App store. Some of them are even free.

I could never get behind the RSS reader in Safari. Personal preference I guess.

In lieu of Safari, I've been using Reeder, which has apps for Mac, iPad and iPhone. (One complaint: you have to pay separately for each iOS version instead of one universal app)

It syncs with Google Reader, so you don't get the same feeds multiple times, very handy for reading news on the computer and on the go.

I use Linux, OS X, iOS and Windows. Let the OS wars die.
