 | [IMG] Limited Guide Data I have very limited Guide data on the guide and I rebooted the set top boxes and the router and after 1 minute, it still is very limited after I did those steps in rebooting each device. Why is this happening and things I need to do otherwise to troubleshoot? |

 | I did that as well and the samthing happens after the reboot was finished. |

 | reply to FiosTV1080I this sounds like the same issue i had when i first switched to Ethernet and didnt have the STBs connected thru my own router to recieve guide data
press the Menu button > Settings > System Info
if it doesnt say that the STB's Network Status is Online then u have an issue with your setup or something on verizon's end
if you're using ethernet you have to make sure the fios router which should have coax running to each STB from it, is still getting internet from your other router, just connect a ethernet cable thru one of its LAN (not WAN/internet) port from a LAN port on your main router and you're router will assign IPs to the STBs and everything should work fine. you dont have to change any settings in the Fios router, just disable the wireless to be safe.
if you get everything thru the standard coax connection then you need to call up verizon and they'll probably give you the "unplug everything for 10 seconds" routine and send out replacements for everything which probably wont actually fix anything till they get a higher tier tech to look at it and fix the obvious issue on their end |

 | The guide days is 4 at the current moment and the STB is QIP-7100-P1. |

| said by FiosTV1080I:It says No program name on every single channel. I would report this to Verizon. If the guide data isn't in the STB memory for days beyound those that are showing, it should download more data to about 10 days worth. It sounds like you've done everything you should try. |
 | Do you think I need a replacement Actiontec? Or could be something else along the lines? |

 | I was told that 3 days of guide data is normal but it always was 10 days from what I remember, I think I got a rep who didn't know what they were talking about. |

kes601 join:2007-04-14 Virginia Beach, VA kudos:2 3 edits | 4 days download at boot time, but it should download the other 6 10 after that.
Edit -- changed 6 to 10 days, as it should download 14 total days. |

crgauth join:2004-05-18 Glen Burnie, MD | I can usually see 14 days (today plus 13 more). Usually has to download when you scroll out past 10 days or so. |

 | It works sometimes and other times I get a troubleshooting message to reboot STB. It's a pain |
