Which device for BYOD plan?

I may be switching back to Millenicom after being away for about 2 years.

I'd like to go with the BYOD plan instead but I'm not sure which device to get.

4G is not available in our area and we do not want a mifi type device.

Is the Sierra 598u the device to get? I know that was a popular device back then but have no idea what is out there now.

The 598 still works fine on Sprint and you can get some really good deals on eBay

Yeah, it did seem that it was fairly inexpensive, so I wondered if it was still a decent card. I assumed that the 3G/4G combo cards were becoming the new standard. $100 for a card through Millenicom seemed a little high.
