Re: [CFL] beIN TV - When will it be avaialble.

said by T24 :

BH not carrying beIN is the equivalent of them showing every baseball game except for the yankees.

I see no problem with not showing Yankees games

Seriously, as has been said many times, join this site then go to the BHN direct forum »Bright House Networks Direct and state your case there so it can be passed on via proper channels.

I understand that all takes time but obviously DishN, DirecTV, Timewarner thought about all of this ahead of time...BH was too busy working on fixing their crappy DVR and not carrying NFL network.

Timewarner doesn't have Bein either. If they did, BHN would also have it. You obviously missed the news that Timewarner finally signed up with NFL network last weekend.

As far as I know the only cable co with Bein is Comcast.

There is a rumor beIN Sport is getting another cable carrier within the next two weeks and it could be TWC/BHN.

Our monthly notices come this week too and it's possible beIn Sport could be on it.

Berniefl35

@bhn.net

That's a nice rumor ,,, hopefully it's true

I'm waiting for BH only until the end of this month. I'm moving to DTV or Dish if they don't come up at least with some news.

Thank you Beachie... this is the correct way of requesting the channel for our customers or they may call and have their request taken via phone.

Also, for everybody that will leave bh by the end of the month. Switch to direct tv and not dish network because only direct tv has bein sports in HD!! I know I will definitely switch to direct by the end of the month too!! That would be sad if bh doesn't get bein soon because dish and direct tv do 2 years contracts. So, no going back to bh

Time Warner Cable does the talks for Bright House.

It is hard to not see your teams but gut it out if you can as you'd be stuck with them for two years.

BTW: How many people in this thread have requested this because it seems like 3-5 people?

HDO a mere fraction of the anon posters have actually taken the time to reach out to me so they could be properly counted which tells me plenty

beIN Sport have said that a new carrier has agreed to carry their channel. I'm guessing things just need to be finalized before announcing who it is.

Could this finally be TWC/BH? I hope so. I've already missed some great matches and don't want to miss anymore, especially with the US playing another very important World Cup qualifier this Friday.

Dan,

I have read they were adding a new carrier in two weeks.

Could be TWC/BHN, we will see.

I will like to know BHN official answer to this issue. I am seriously thinking in switching to another provider. I pay a lot of money per month and I am not getting what I want.

gunneryank

@bhn.net

I just noticed that beIN Sport has been added to the Brighthouse lineup as I was searching for "Soccer". I have Brighthouse in Indianapolis, and it's on channel 461. The odd thing is that it must have just been added, as I cannot record any matches. Also, when I'm watching the channel, if I press the guide button, it shows that I'm watching channel 600, the Local On Demand channel. However, if I press the info button, it shows that I'm watching channel 461. Maybe they're currently streaming beIN Sport on channel 600 until they can permanently add it as channel 461. Also, the channel number may be regional, so your channel number may differ.

I'll be incredibly happy if this channel has officially been added to an already excellent sports package.

I had read that over a week ago. This morning I awoke to the news that the new carrier was announced. Unfortunately, it wasn't TWC/BH. Instead, it was Liberty Cablevision in Puerto Rico.

sometimes when channels are first added the navigator guide will do a direct tune to the channel even if it is not in the guide and possibly the guide is redirecting to 600 if 600 is the next highest channel.

Berniefl35

@bhn.net

Yea. I know but the channel has not yet been added,,, he is seeing the wrong thing

And just like with NFL Network, BrightHouse is very likely included in the TWC deal. When they get something major, they add it pretty quickly and it's usually in the next notice.

The first BHN notice comes out a week from tomorrow in Michigan.

I expect all BHN systems outside of the Panhandle to get BeIN Sports by the end of the year (Within 2 1/2 months).

You can all stop bugging Gary about this now.

We truly have a great HD lineup.

All were really missing of the major things are more Starz/Encore/Plex HD channels (Because they are currently on month to month agreements and that should end soon), AXS.TV/HDNet Movies and EPIX.

I also want Sundance HD and am puzzled why the HD version has not been added yet but it will eventually come. I do feel spoiled though especially after NFL Network finally got done.

Where did you copy those legal notices from? That's an updated list from my division (Rochester), but I can't find where you got that info from.
