[DSL] DSL12 getting under just under 10mbI've been with TSI for several years now and was with the 5mb plan and I upgraded to DSL12 but I'm only getting 9mb+ and always under 10mb.
When I called to upgrade, they checked and in my location I was able to receive DSL25. How can I get the full 12? |

You can ask TekSavvy to verify your sync profile, but in the long term the 10 and 12 meg profiles are being eliminated (15 is the closest remaining) |

Re: [DSL] DSL12 getting under just under 10mbMy guess is your on a Literal 12 meg profile, instead of the 14 which would give u actual 12 meg speeds. is the issue. |

Man, still trying to get the line stats! Was going to use the DMT tool. My firmware is 6.2.17.1 and doesn't seem to respond to either the EXPERT or td prompt commands to get me into Expert mode.
Looks like the DMT tool should work. I assume that a newer firmware would not help my speeds right? |

newer firmware *may* help your speeds. in DMT make sure you select "untested firmware" in the options. |

yea sorry, what i meant to say is that i was promised my line can handle 25Mbit service but i went with 12Mbit connection.
Stupid me though. I forgot to put a filter on the damn phone! I figured that out 2 minutes after i posted. Sorry |

Glad to hear I'm surprised you managed to sync that fast while missing a filter, to be honest. |

just curious.. is the 12/15 an entire new modem? been pondering doing the upgrade from 6 like yourself, but since my current line stats predict max of 10 sync I never bothered.. paying for 15 which they claim I can get and getting only 9 after sync just doesn't seem worth it. |

15/1 is the same ADSL2+ modem. Only 15/10 would be VDSL2, but TekSavvy is not offering that tier. |
