The crisis is over. I figured out how to allocate more space to the volume and that made it happy. Something will certainly be impacting the linux dude's propeller when he gets back.
He will discover that dissing and ignoring the nice Dotnet Bear is not a wise career decision. Dude also didn't put anyone other than himself on the space alert notification list...and he hasn't been checking his email for the last week, either.
