I got a letter last week from COX about moving some channels to SDV soon and to swap out my cable cards. No body at Cox has any idea of what I am talking about. Has any one else got this letter and were you able to get any information
reply to wcda When AZ switched to SDV, I had two tvs that had cablecards, and I would say most tv's that are cablecard ready don't have support for tuning adapters or SDV. Tivos and other cablecard tuners shouldn't have a problem and should just need to get tuning adapters. The only reason I would think they have to swap out cablecards if their system was changing from moto to cisco or vice versa. My letter (years ago) also allowed me to pick up hd boxes for the tvs at a huge discount for at least 6 months (I think it was a year but not positive).
