I've run Android phones for years and I have yet to encounter any malware. Most of the malware on Android consists of shady apps from non-official sources. |

| reply to KoRnGtL15 I have Avast installed on my Android only because I came to Android from a Blackberry which got a nasty virus (I know not how) that would shut down the phone for a day or two without notice.
The latest Avast version has some nice features including a network monitor.
