Re: Charter or U-Verse Internet?? Thinking of switching soon.

If I went the U-Verse route, I would definitely order TV and Internet, so the install would be free, then cancel the TV within 30 days.

I learned this through dslreports and you guys. Thanks!

For Monterey Park, CA, actually for west part of San Gabriel Valley, both Charter Internet and AT&T U-verse are bad if compare with Charter Internet in Long Beach, CA and Verizon FiOS due to lack of Verizon FiOS so charter does not have to compete. I would try the cheapest offer first, if there is problem that really bother you then try the other one. If both is about the same, switch back and forth every year or two to take advantage of introductory offer.

Thanks Pinky321 for the advice. I'll have to calculate who is the cheapest, but it looks like Charter is cheaper now. $29.99/month for 30Mbps and a $19.99 installation fee with free modem.
