Re: LCD Clock Extension 0.4.2

Santa Fe See Profile? Look through the threads listed in this link »LCD Clock Extension 0.4.2 There is a way to edit FireFox's userchrome to make the font work.

Here it is. Just try and change the font name and save.

.lcd-labels {
font-family: Digital Readout Thick Upright !important;
font-size: 2.0em !important;
padding: 0px 2px !important;
margin: 0px !important;

}

Hmmm Strong enough for a Firefox Font but made for an LCD Clock Extension.

Tried it in Windows 7, but I go through the options menu and can't find out how to change fonts. Right click on the clock & all I get is Options/Set Alarm/Clear Alarm.

Select and Right click on the Font(s) you want to install and select Install from the context menu that appear. Your font will be instaled if it is right for Windows Vista. But it will confirm your acceptance by asking you through user account control pop up window. Simply click on Continue, and you are done.

Cool!

Good results. You can use any font. Once you have it installed and have dragged it to the toolbar of your choice you can right click on the clock to get the Options menu.

And this is a must.

Just a question, did you right click and customize, then drag the clock to where you want it ?

It works for me.

Ok, I now retract my original post. Once installed, I right-clicked on the menu bar at the top, then customize. I then scrolled through the list of options, and low and behold...there was this LCD Clock Icon!

I then dragged it to the position I wanted, and it works!

So, put me in the same camp as No_Strings See Profile with "Operator error" being the failure here.

It's working for me. I assume I have to put the Truetype font in /usr/share/fonts/truetype .

I'm not running Firefox, but running Waterfox instead. So, I figured I would try it out and see if it works, as most plug-ins that work on Firefox work on Waterfox.

However, that was not the case with this one, as it did not work. Must not be compatible with a 64 bit browser.

In the past user have used an extension called LCD Clock

»[Extension] LCD Clock v0.2
»LCD Clock v0.3
»LCD Clock 0.4.2

I was using an old version and decided to try and get the last version working. It works for me (see screenshot) but I'd like to see if it works for other users. I zipped it up with the font I am using.

Some of you may never have seen this extension and find it useful.

Post your results :)

I'm using FireFox on Linux
