Re: [TWC] TWC Dallas: Does anyone know what "Variety Tier& We have the Variety Tier listed on the channel lineup in SoCal. I'm sure it won't be exactly the same as the Dallas one, but it includes channels like Hallmark Channel, BBC America, MTV2, VH1 Classic, CMT, Fuse, Nat Geo Wild, Style, Sundance, Centric, Current TV, cloo, etc. |

 | Thanks, Suit Up. That was helpful. I found those channels listed in the lineup here under "Digital Services Tier." In this region, it may be that the Variety Tier is already included and is not really a "bonus" like it would appear, thus explaining why it does not show up as a category.
Thanks again. |

Thanks again. Variety Tier is what about 95% of Digital Customers take. A good value at about $10 extra a month that gives you about 200 channels. I don't recommend Digital Choice, which is only about 7 more HD channels at $5.00 a month, or something called HD Net at an extra $6.00. Digital Variety is the way to go.

 | Thanks, Satch. Dallas doesn't appear to be dividing them that way any more. The Texas customer service reps didn't know about "Variety Tier" and no mention of "Digital Choice", etc. I finally found the channels that comprise "Variety Tier" under the category "Digital Service Tier." You can see how confusing it is in the Dallas channel lineup brochure shown below. None of the categories are really defined. A customer service rep told me today that "Digital TV" service includes the first 8 categories shown in the following, only after I asked her about each category and if it was included:
