Can you reactivate cablecard on new device or have to swap?
Just as title says. Say I have a currently installed and activated cable card...and want to replace that device with a different one. Can I simply pair/reactivate my existing cablecard on the website or phone, or do they treat them like minor changes with their boxes where you have to swap for a new one with any little change.

reply to c17chief The card is activated already. You might have to pair it to your new device, but it's not essential unless you have a premium channel.
reply to c17chief I know it will have to be repaired to the new device...especially now past the Jul 31st deadline when they started playing by the rules.....question is is there a way to easily do it with the existing card rather then do an otherwise pointless equipment swap with verizon.
I would agree with above. I recently had to re-pair my two cards using the Automated Pairing and was quite impress. Although they say it will take up to 30 min at the end, both were competed in about 5 min.
Much better than having to chat with a CSR and get bounced around to several technical area only to find out they wish to dispatch a tech. (Oh that was Comcast.)
