I'm not yet sold on USB duplex outlets. The only legitimate manufacturer marketing them is Cooper, and they aren't getting rave reviews. FastMac's version is UL-listed but reviews are mixed, and I'm not inclined to stuff a massive transformer into an outlet box.
Until the dust settles and we see Leviton selling such a product, I'd stick with something like the Belkin 6-outlet surge suppress #BV106050-CW that fits over an existing outlet and is known to work to charge iPad, though amazingly not officially, and be sure to only plug in one USB device at a time. |
