Portland, OR Sweet!! Just got my Comcast Blast Plus upgraded to 50 Mbps down/10 Mbps up.
I was downloading Grand Theft Auto:San Andreas from Steam..and it ran at 4.0 MBps to 5.7 MBps the whole time.
Far too cool.

1 edit | Granite Falls, WA I rebooted my modem after seeing Bellingham, WA was updated. I'm just outside Granite Falls, WA.
I was unable to get any speedtest.net servers to return the full download, although they were seeing the 10mbps upload. The shaper test did show the proper speeds though.
Checking for traffic shapers:

Downstream: No shaper detected.

Houston, TX Got the email today in Houston, Texas that they have doubled the speed of my Blast!® Internet service, with download speeds up to 50 Mbps and upload speeds up to 10 Mbps.

Oakdale, MN I see Oakdale, Minnesota has been reported already. I'm on Performance and just got the email announcing the upgrade. I sure love seeing this on a speed test!

1 edit | Seattle, WA Here in Seattle, on performance and was getting better download speeds BEFORE the upgrade! Seems my upload speeds are slightly better but overall feels more like a downgrade. Download test starts out at 30 to 35 mbps and mellows out to the above. |
