Problem with WNDA4100
I have a WDNR4500 router and a WNDA4100 adapter I just purchased.
Setup was easy. Router working and adapter working but I have a couple of things I'm not sure about with the adapter.
I allowed WDNA4100.exe to access the internet. I cannot connect to Netgear to check for a firmware update on the adapter. It says "ERROR. Could not connect to the NETGEAR server. Please check your Internet connection". Internet connection is working. Disabled my firewall and still no connection to update server on the adapter. Router connected and updated firmware just fine on another computer.
Just found out today that WNDA4100.exe is constantly connected to 22.214.171.124 and 126.96.36.199. It was passing data constantly and knocking my connection down to 214Mbps. I blocked it for now and the connection went back up to 450Mbps. The consequence of that is that the Negear Genie says I have no connection between the router and the internet but it is working.
Not sure what's going on. Any ideas?
