I have two pallies on my main realm, if I transfer my beautiful female dwarf pally would my choices only be BELF or Tauren? I can't play BELF so I'd have to go female Tauren? Sexy, but not quite as "I'd hit that" as the female dwarf.

In other words, is BELF and Tauren the only horde races that can be pallies?

Yep. Unless pandas can be pallys too? Anyone know?

But yes, for the horde only BE and Tauren can be pallys.

So undead can be priests but not pallies? What's up with that?

Hey Kris, side note. The other day I was running an HoT 5 random, and one of the people said in party chat, "Whats DSLR?"

I answered him, then later it occurred to me I had no idea how he knew about DSLR. At the time he asked it seemed like a natural question because, for some reason, I had it in my head that our guid was called DSLR instead of Aftershock, haha.

Was I playing with a psychic or is there some hidden tab Im unaware of that allows you to view people's guild info tab, because as far as I know thats the only place the word DSLR appears....

Well gang, it looks like a LAP TOP will be a necessity for me in the near term after the birth of my little one. I need suggestions and quick. Kris knows pretty much what I need, but I want to get the ball rolling.

Since your budget is $1k, $996 with memory upgraded to 8GB (1333) and a 120 GB SSD (use an external 1TB as your data drive). I do the SSD/external thing and the laptop absolutely flies.

Hit 85 with my DK over the weekend, so I went and bought 378 ring, neck, relic with my leveling JP, bought the Valor boots after running some heroics with my warriror (thanks Pullux for joining ), completed the quest to save thrall for the cape and the rest filled with PvP stuff. Bought Stoneskin flasks, buff food and went in to the End of Time thinking "im going to get destroyed".
I was lucky enough to get a great healer and very decent dps, I had to be very careful with my cooldowns and I got 3 pieces out of it (pants, shoulder, gloves).

Will keep working on him while I wait for GW2.

I had planned on trying to come over some time this week and hang out with you all, but my new harddrive for my laptop arrived last week and I'm still busy getting things set back up. Would be a lot faster if I wasn't on 3Mbps dsl.

I transferred my neglected second pally (Pallihoe) to the server yesterday and got an invite from Antonica.

I just couldn't get into the female tauren look after having had the joy of staring at female dwarf asses for so long. So I ended up race/faction changing to an anorexic Belf female.

I had forgotten how much I hate the Belf capital city! It started me there with my hearth set there, so the first half an hour was spent making my way to Dalaran to set my HS.

After that I unloaded my bags and bank full of items on the AH that I took from my medium pop server. I was really astonished at how crazy many of the prices are on the Mal'Ganis AH. I hope to open my mailboxes tonight and be rich beyond my wildest dreams

I've never played on a server as active as Mal'Ganis, it was cool to see not only Org packed with people, but also Dalaran. It was also cool how many pugging opportunities there were. After listing all my AH items, I did a tmog run through BT and finally got the Bulwark of Azzinoth that I've failed to get after about 10 runs on my other pally.

Afterwards I did a TOC run and we did all of the TOC achievs.

The only downside I saw was that there is so much chat in capital cities that its easy to miss whispers or guild chat.

I don't like any of the horde cities. The troll area of Orgrimmar is where I hung out for the month I was on a horde server.

Org gets so packed that you can't even use the mailboxes. I stay most of my queue times on Hyal next to the world tree.
