I agree the business class users got the shaft, however so did the low end budget continuous financially strapped residential users,
Now just ignoring the bandwidth caps for a moment...
$119 for 300 mbps = only 0.39c per mbps ( pretty nice)
$29 for 5mbps = $5.80 per mbps (WTF)
At this price margin people who just want the cheapest option just for A reliable constantly on Internet service get dumped on the most. Im not saying that the price vs. speed structure for 5 mbps should be the same as for there 300 mpbs, however this is just price gouging the individuals that want the cheapest plan. Im not sure about you but Even $12 a month for 5/2 sounds like a winner with the budget continuous consumer and thats still $2.40 per mpbs.
( note ATT use to offer residential DSL 1.5-3.0 mbps for $12.99 almost a decade ago)
