Re: [Raiding] Dragon Soul Progression Thread Reborn We gave H.Ultrax some valiant efforts. The reduced cast time of Hour of Twilight really ratchets up the focus required by each player. Our dps needs more practice so that surviving becomes second-nature once again and they can maximize their dps. I was suprised by how severely having that extra Fading Light cuts into our dps. When one of your dps workhorses is an ele shaman... having him spend half the time in the other realm sucks (he had bad luck... it seemed like every single fading light cast landed on him).
We knock out minutes to madness on normal like champs now, lol. We will keep working on H.Ultrax and I'm sure we'll get it next week, along with H. Yor. We missed deck defender within the first 10sec. of the encounter, lol... not really a big deal until we've gone 8/8H.

On the Guild raid last night
we had some guildies not show (so no 3healers for Zon) so zon was reg
They weren't interested in doing the achev on Morchock (claimed it makes healing harder) and some on kelogram messed up but luckily my group killed morchock before kelo got to us and put a good bit of DPS on him before the pali tank finished the boss off.
Had some trouble on H-Yor, we had a pug hunter that didn't want to stack, but we got it. (though once the druid healer DC'ed and didn't come back and a guild priest logged on we then killed yor without any more wipes)
Zon was reg, so nothing then of note.
The also opted not to try the achev on hagara, oh well
H-Ultra was one shot, DBM is very helpful with the timers, and debuff watching, and HoT counting.
War master was kinda one shot, but kinda with a false start. It was still on heroic from Ultra and even though the RL set it to reg it was stuck on heroic, so we jumped ship or stood in fire and ran back and set to reg for real this time.
then I managed to get them to do the achev on spine, and a Pug DK died so we 9maned it.
Then due to it getting late and the "lets get this done" feeling they just did Maddness like always (they weren't up for doing a step of the achev.)
so 1 achev and a longer than normal run. and burned up 10 feasts.
BTW any word on cross realm DS in 5.0.4? |

Hi, my 'Main" that I play for achievements and anything else seriously is 85 Orc Warlock-Stonemaul
I want to start working on some of the Raid achieves, can anyone give me some advice or tips on how i can start getting into raids? like does queueing up in LFR? really work, I have tried it before but it always says its empty even tho im queued and be in it for a few hours nothing ever happens.
Or what other options do I have? |

Really? Has WOW died down that much?
I stopped playing a while back but I could queue for LFR as a dps and be in within 5-10 minutes. Are you queueing for dragon soul raid and not one of the older raids? |

I likely won't bother with the I've been waiting along time for this (it takes a long time) (though doing it on heroic is easy just time consuming) |
