There are some champions that are based on physical damage (xin zhao, Graves) and what we call mages that are based on magic damage (Brand, Swain, Veigar).
There are also some that could be built either AD or AP(Teemo, Tristana, Kennen, Kogmaw, Ezreal) and there are also what we call hybrids because their abilities scale from both (Akali, Jax, Kayle )
Turrets are only affected by autoattacks which scale from AD so in a Proving Grounds game when you kill and AD champ as an AP you dont have that great tower killing power.Judge a man by the trials of his shield, not the empty reaping of his sword. | | |
