That bear had moments that reminded me of a Jackie Chan movie for some reason. just some of those "Come at me" bits.

I really like the cinematic - watched it on the beta last night (it's under the cinematics part on the logon screen if you're in the beta) The only fault I have with it, is it still does nothing to explain the point of this expansion! Cata had Deathwing erupting up and causing the breaking, Lich had the intro story for him, etc. What does this one do?

"Why do we fight?" dur, why are you HERE? What's the reasoning? What's the point?

Basically, it doesn't make me WANT the game, like Cata did, even though I've got it preordered.

Still looks sweet, and they are really good at making cinematics.

A horde and Ally ship were at war in uncharted waters, and landed on new found land (not to be confused with Newfoundland)

A panda monk gave em a beat down and they became interested.

Ya needs work IMO

Well, honestly after watching the video, I was like "Cool video"....but that was it. Neat video with no substance.

I have pre-purchased MoP but this is the first xpac since WoW came out that I am not choppin at the bit to play....There is not a part of me that wants to quest til 90 and grind out successive raids until the next tier...I think 6-7 years is enough of the hamster wheel. Fuck the carrot.

I have 2 characters left I havent deleted ,my main (Rogue) and my alt (warrior). I may log on for the first month but I think Im going to let my sub die out.

Kind of makes you wonder why they would even bother outsourcing a WoW movie. Not knowing the time and effort involved in these I think they could do a great job in house.

I DO have an idea of the time/effort these would take. (Degree in Comp Animation ..). It's quite an undertaking not to mention pricey in assets, rendering, etc. Would take nearly as long as a feature film and nearly as much cost if not more. (Brave cost nearly 3-digit million to make).

But that said, I KNOW they would recap it. The excitement left the world over from rabid WoW players and fans would def see them pony up $14 to see it in 3D. Plus all the old vets long gone from the game who would purchase a box office ticket to see this for nostalgia, love, etc...oh yeah. Blizzard would make big bank doing a 90 minute or more feature animated 3D film of the WoW universe

I'd like to trade those 10 interwebs for some FL25 runs (till I have the staff).

Ya I'm kinda mad about the staff.

I joined a FL25 group that was running every week, and got on the list to get stuff for the staff.
then I got 11 embers and went ahead and bought the sands.

Come to find next week they stopped doing the 25's and started doing 10H during the week.

A friend of mine on wow that had been running with that group much longer and was further along on the chain also got left out of the 10H, even though he had healed on his priest several times while waiting to collect items.

Now its been 3 lockouts since I've done FL.

PUG, unless your server is dead. FL25 runs PUG everytime I log on on my server, hell do what I do-if I want or need something then I form the raid and run it....FL is easy as hell nowadays.

Only for groups that have done it. It's still a "do the dance" raid. Beth'tilac, Alysrazor, Baleroc, Rhyolith are unique fights that have to be fully explained since people have nothing to compare these fights to. Shannox requires competent tanks... trapping the dogs at the right time to drop stacks takes practice... you can't just explain it and go.

I'm not saying it can't be done, just tone down the used-car salesman pitch a bit. One great thing about FL... you can cross-realm it.

Ya its easy, but not if you pug from my server.

With my luck I'd get 2-4 clowns and they'd pull some trash that no one was ready for (or a boss) and then the good players would bale claiming "WTF wiping on trash I'm out a here)

There are some good players they're just most likely to be locked already by the weekend.

and then trying to fill a 25 man can take awhile and knowing my server people would bale just waiting.

Then after all of that I'd have to ML to make sure I get the embers and people would likely pull some crap.

I might give it a try, I just keep remembering that one BT run where people insisted I be the ML and everyone would just runoff to the next boss and leave me and others locked out of the room (it was a nightmare)

Ok I just had to many bad times RL'ing and fear it, due to all the bads out there.

Ya, any chance you'd like to RL it?

I'm up for posting it on openraid, but the last two times I did I didn't get even 15 signs.

I'd have the embers, if a friend of mine on stormrage is available this weekend he'd be on one of the items (don't recall which but I think he last did volcanous)

I wouldn't care for any of the other loot, just the eternal embers.

I'll be on vacation this weekend and next week. However, I still like the fights and the gear, so we'll see about knocking out some runs.

Cool

I hope the 5.0.4 patch next week doesn't mess us over.

But at this point I just want to complete the staff even if I'm lvl90 while doing it.

Some of it looks cool, and I do plan to make a full T12 set to keep in Void storage just incase I want to tmog into it. I forgot what part I'm missing.

How much of the Brave budget went to pay for famous actors to do the voice overs? Does it change the cost on an order of magnitude basis if you hired "reasonably priced" unknown actors to do the voice overs?
