The Intel system may perform better on every-day tasks, but I believe the integrated GPU of the AMD is a little more capable in terms of rendering video or light gaming.

I have an i3 2100 GPU/CPU and I think it renders video a lot better than the AMD quad it replaced. I like the part list of the Intel but I admit I'm partial to Intel because of the way it handles the tasks I use it for - newsgroup file manipulation/general use. I don't game with it but I wouldn't be afraid to run World of Warcraft or Diablo 3 on it in a pinch. The only thing I would do is dump in some aftermarket RAM to max out the board to 16 GB just because we'll never see RAM prices this low again.
