Re: [Extension] HTTPS Everywhere - Beta development build

Unfortunately, unless I disable HTTPS Everywhere, I'm constantly bombarded by the following dslr message:
"503 Request temporarily denied: too many requests arriving from your IP address."
No problems when HTTPS Everywhere is disabled but as soon as I enable it I'm barely able to navigate dslreports without that message constantly popping up. I may have to uninstall HTTPS Everywhere completely. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Click Enable/Disable Rules in the HTTPS Everywhere menu. Search for Broadband Reports, and disable the ruleset by changing the tick to an X. That should fix it.

Hmmm. I just followed your link and installed HTTPS Everywhere and restarted Firefox, but when I click About Https Everywhere, it is still showing as version 2.3.3. Am I doing something wrong?

Tim

PS - Never mind. You said it is a new stable release, so I thought it would be the main download link. But, it is listed as a development version on down the page. Now I see that you said "stable release candidate".

If you use a site that you know has a securecookie rule, it would be
great if you could try it out and make sure that it still seems to work
