Some customers may experience connectivity issues due a McAfee virus upgrade that went out on Friday.
McAfee sent out a virus upgrade Friday that caused a corrupt file in all McAfee products resulting in Internet connection issues for some customers. McAfee has since corrected the corrupt file, but you may still experience connection problems. Refer to the steps below for resolving your issue.
McAfee Technical Support has confirmed that the uninstall and re-install of the product has been the most effective process to fix this issue. For Cox McAfee products, once you have uninstalled the McAfee product, you will need to restart your computer, then re-install the software through Internet Tools.
