Correct. While the adobe page still lists version 11.3.300.271, I downloaded the EXE for Internet Explorer, and looked at the details page. The version does show up as 11.4.402.265. Also, the Digital Signature shows a date/time of Wednesday, August 15, 2012 2:22:37 PM.
Which, for reference is only 4 days after the 11.3.300.271 release, which had a digital signature of Saturday, August 11, 2012 8:12:28 PM (Yes, I do save locally the EXE installs).
Not a lot of time between builds, and I noticed this was a larger jump in version number too.

It seems to have fixed the issue of the browser (FF 14.0.1 anyway) loosing focus when going to a page with Flash the first time (I do have Protected Mode turned on and do see the processes running). Progress! Using Windows 7 Pro/SP1 64bit. |

Is there something especially particular to Firefox/Mozilla in this update?

 | reply to kickass69 Adobe is the most re*%^&ed company since last good working version 11.2.202.235.
1) This fu*&**ng thing wouldn't work unless I set to allow FlashPlayerPlugin_11_4_402_265.exe in my Firewall's Outbound Rule, why this thing need to "connect"? all prior versions including version 11.2.202.235 don't mess with Firewall.
2) RTMP wouldn't work unless I edit the mms.cfg with ProtectedMode = 0, why must one mess with sys file?
Conclusion? Adobe please keep your re*&*ded product and s*&^# it where the a*# don't shine. |

 | I'm with you Ron, I've said time and time again that when Adobe added sandboxing to Flash in the late 11.2 and 11.3 versions is when all these problems arose plus who knows what else they changed. While the idea is sound, all these issues are proving it's not worth it and they should remove it. |
