 | continously losing my Bright house connection In Florida, Hernando County, Spring Hill. For some time now we will lose our connection and to get back on line we have to unplug the cable modem. No internet TV or phone through Brighthouse. Phone is through 8x8.
Our router is a linksys BEFSX 41 firmware 1.52.16. I did have a netgear 16 port switch inline but recently took it out to help eliminate it has a issue.
When we call brighthouse continues to blame our router. Unplugging the router when we are down does NOT bring back the internet.
I also have a Netgear wireless router in use for the wireless connections in the house, laptops and Rokus.
Brighthouse has been out twice in last week or so. First visit they said bad grounding box and replaced it and said all was good. Couple of hours later down again.
Second visit about 3 days ago to change modem to a different model. Said good to go. Few hours later down again.
I asked what cable was run RG59 or RG6 and said R6 is run.
I don't believe its our router. What else can I get them to do or check if anything ?
Thanks mark |
