For myself, this throttling is not an issue since most all of my internet activities are download activities. And it only happens from mid afternoon until end of primetime.
My speculation is there is a timing issue, so, they have reduced upload speed so network works.
I'm not aware of this being an issue on Exede 12 beams (Colorado: 358, Eastern 1/2 of Kentucky: 327, upper 5/6 of California: 364) out of Tucson. |

| So the Exede 5 plan is marketing 5mb DN and 1mb UP...
From your speed test your getting about 40%-45% of max speed Do you think that would be a good daily adv?
Keep in mind I'm speaking about Exede 5 & 12
So do you think it might be fair to say in the state of georgia one should expect 40% to 45% of max speed during prime time.... or could it be even a lower %?
As for the free period what are your adv. UP/DOWN after 12:00am-5:00am ? |

I do little uploading...so slower upload speed is not an issue for me from mid-afternoon to end of primetime.
Exede 5/12 is new technology...there are a few tech issues they need to address; hence, in several months, this slower upload speed may become history.
Hence, one can't judge the product until they rectify these matters. New tech will always have issues, so its too early for a concrete opinion.
