Re: I'm Holding My Breath I'd say there is a 99.9999999999% probability that TM will never "get" the iPhone. They simply won't pay Apple what they want for the phone.
Obviously TM has done the math and feels that most of their users won't exceed 5GB of data. Given that they are offering the Unlimited plan for $20 (which is what I get 5GB under the Loyalty plan at), they are really not charging any more for this new unlimited plan than what they have now.
I don't really see this helping TM unless they spend the money to advertise that they are offering unlimited data. It will cost them to get the word out but I think without the ads, the plan is about worthless, customer retention-wise. |
