I hope that's being put in that iO Espanol package and not on any main tier and in SDV as to not constantly waste bandwidth for something else not in English.

Isn't Cablevision starting to put SDV on the back burner until they run out of room when the systems go all digital?

Their International packages in the 1000s and 1100s are still on SDV regardless whether the system is analog/digital hybrid or all digital.

Switched Digital Video stinks. If it ever comes back it better work properly because I was close to getting Direct TV because I was so tired of the temporarily unavailable messages on channels that were included in an 85 dollar package. Fool me once shame on you ... fool me twice. Cablevision was wise to dump it.

We speak English in the U.S.A., so unless it has at least English subtitles it's not worth watching. it's interesting to note that programming in English usually has Spanish language also, but Spanish channels don't have English language translations!. this seems like an accomodation, and preferential treatment towards Spanish!.

the news is the only thing that would be worth understanding. the rest of the programming in my opinion is so stupid it wouldn't be worth watching any way.

Last night at 11 PM (not late night), one of the Spanish channels was running ads for the above product over and over. That's the high-quality programming available and why we need more Spanish channels. (This NSFW ad is the funniest, because of the girls with the tape measures.)

Your sense of humor in bringing your point across on this topic, nicely done.

The top notch quality programming one can always expect from Spanish and other certain non-english channels

Unlike what most people think the USA does not have an official language. Congress has yet to pass a law on one. Look at the constitution it does not say the language has to be english.
