Add in the restrictions and rising overall costs of mobile data now that 4G is rolling out, it's no wonder a sizable percentage don't want it.
4g is a marketing term. Little more. The fact that people get so pissy about it is fascinating.
If I'm getting 12mbps on my Galaxy Nexus, I don't really care if it's WiMax, LTE, or HSPA+. The result is what matters, not the marketing.
