Re: [DVR] 7232 Slow, Unrepsonsive Until Warms Up or a Reboot

Verizon is looking into this.

Glad Verizon is looking at it.

I've had the same problem on all three of my STBs for several weeks. I had my router replaced. Did nothing. I didn't expect it to, but went from a G to an N for free.

Yesterday, I didn't run into any issues. Maybe Verizon already fixed the problem. I'm in VHO4.

I spoke too soon. The problem was the worst ever last night. It seemed like every time I pressed a button on the remote it took a minute or two to respond.

Fios techs should be made to read the forums. I have had several techs out that replaced all sorts of things that were totally unaware of this issue. Same for the ones that you call. It's really quite frustrating that there is such a disconnect there. Happens all the time on my 7332-2's. This is NOT normal. Seems to be worse with a I rev router. And how dare they say they are working on this when none of their techs are even aware of this. Complete BS!

Has this happened to anyone with a cisco Box? I have a Motorola and it is happening. Over on the fios boards, someone suggested that it only happens to motorolas. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

My Cisco boxes have never had any issues with a slow quide or changing channels.

But as you have read, Verizon fixing the issue.

I seem to only have the problem when my guide is set to show subscribed channels only. When I change the guide option to all channels I don't get the channel changing lag.

Also, when the guide is set to subscribed channels I noticed that when I'm in the guide and type 600 it always goes to channel 603 in the guide. It does the same with some other channels. When the guide is set to show all channels it never does this.
