You're talking about 20 year old kids with too much money and a really high opinion of themselves. Most of them never had money before and have no idea what to do with it except get into trouble. All that stupid stuff you wanted to do in high school but couldn't afford? Bring it on!!!!

Most teams also hold a rookie symposium where they address this kind of stuff and have veterans advise the new guys on how to handle themselves in the spotlight. One of the first things they tell them is to get rid of their friends that only want to party.

Bryant sounds like a slow learner, but he's hardly the only player cut from the party life cloth.

pro7070 posted : Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com broke the news over the weekend that Bryant and the Cowboys had agreed to a series of guidelines for his behavior away from the field that went into effect on Aug. 23. The rules bar Bryant from drinking alcohol or visiting strip clubs and include a midnight curfew unless the Cowboys are informed in advance that he'll be out later.

Bryant will also attend two counseling sessions a week and he'll have a rotating security team of three men who will protect him and transport him to practices, games and anywhere else that doesn't include women removing their clothing for money. There's no word on whether or not Bryant will be allowed to have dessert if he doesn't finish his lima beans, but Jerry Jones is allowed to ask Bryant "If your friends all jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge, would you do it too?" four times this season.

We kid on those last two notes because, frankly, it's ridiculous that an adult needs babysitters in order to make it through a day without incident. That doesn't mean it isn't a smart move by the Cowboys.

Synopsis
1) Midnight curfew
2) No Strip clubs
3) No alcohol
4) Can only attend nightclubs approved by Cowboys
5) Three man team escort him to and from practice and everywhere else he goes.
6) Attends counseling sessions twice a week

Jesus, did the Cowboys not learn with Pacman Jones? If someone needs this much attention to stay out of trouble cut his ass and let someone else that wants to play in there. I'd be willing to bet he screws this up in the first couple of months. Jerry Jones really knows how to choose them.
