GlennHPremium join:2004-02-12 Golden, CO | Stress Testing a New Build - What Software? I'm getting ready to build a new rig, but it's been over 3 years since my last. Back then I used Memtest and Prime95 to test the cpu, mb, and memory, while monitoring with core temp and hwmonitor.
Are these still the "tools of choice" when building and testing?
I'll be attempting a modest overclock of the cpu too but no tweaking of the gpu.
Thanks! |
