[WIN7] Office 2010 compatible with Windows Seven?

My wonderful foolish sister in law
fried her computer and went to best buy
and bought another one and got another
screw job!
any who I have Office 2010 and would like to load it
on hers so she does not go out and buy a 200 product!

I'm not sure on that. Supposedly you can just enter your key into the trial version and it will work. But I'm not sure if it requires a special key for that particular version.

I usually run the trial, go through the sign-up, and enter the trial key. I then go back and enter the retail key and activate it. I then run Windows Update and make sure all those are loaded.

The extra steps are probably not necessary. You are supposed to be able to just start the 60-day trial, enter the retail key, activate it and be done.

Why even contemplate such a question ? How would installing over a dumb-ass trial version be of possible benefit ? It takes 3 minutes to un-install. Reboot and then do a clean install of the full product you just purchased.

I agree. You should uninstall the trial before installing your copy.
I have it installed on a Win7 64bit system (I installed the 32 bit Office 2010).
