Apple → [OS X] os x froze during filevault encryption

So I got a new MacBook Pro today, antiglare 15", I was in the process of setting it up and OS X froze- at the same time I was 3 hours into the FileVault encryption. I forced a reboot by holding the power button down and then logged back into OS X. Upon logging in, FileVault resumed encryption. I wanted to know if I should reformat and start the encryption process from the beginning or is it ok to continue?

presuming that nothing seems out of place or broken, you should be good to go
