I even tried putting in a request for it via the Direct Forum, and was denied because (quoting) "WHDSL 25M/1-7M/CUSTOMER IS ON THE HIGHEST PROFILE POSSIBLE.FULL SYNC."
Guspaz posted : The people posting low pings are on VDSL2, which has substantially lower inherent latency than ADSL2+, which you're on (or rather your speedtests are consistent with a 15/1 connection). There are a whole bunch of reasons for this; higher downstream and especially upstream, no more ATM causing tons of overhead (and for tiny packets like ICMP to get multiplied by not quite fitting into packets), probably higher priority from Bell, a negligible amount of interleaving relative to speed, etc.
--
Developer: Tomato/MLPPP, Linux/MLPPP, etc »fixppp.org
