Telus → Calgary Telus - telus acting strange?

So it started a weekend ago when my Telus DSL modem was restarting two or three times on the same day, it seemed to me an upgrade or firmware.

There was some downtime where it won't disconnect but I would loose internet access for 5-10 mins at a time.

Also I noticed by accident that they have started to pull up or display all my usage data since April.

Anyways that went away within about ten hours and was stable.

I have a few things that keep "watch" on either Telus or my connection/IP.

Then this morning for the first time in two years my IP changed, which I won't blink an eye at but it's a whole different block.

I went from a 75.158.146.* address to a 205.206.138.*

Which is very odd as I had to reset some my stuff.

But what is Telus up to, I feel like they are getting ready to cause a shit storm or am I just paranoid?
