[netopia] Adding an Access Point to Netopia 3347-02

I have a 3347-02 which is attached to a Cisco PIX 506e firewall. I have a lan network I want to protect behind the firewall, but I also want to be able to use the other lan ports on the netopia to access internet from other PCs which do not need protection. In order for the PCs to access internet behind the firewall, the static IP of the firewall is also the static IP of the gateway on the Netopia. I want to add a wireless access point which is going to be connected with cat5e. The built in wireless works, but doesn't have enough range for my application. I've tried adding an AP but get no internet on the wireless devices attached to the AP. Is there something I'm not doing right?

none

AP is connected to one of the LAN ports on teh 3347, correct?

if the AP is a router, you need to turn OFF the DHCP server on the AP. Then connect one of it's LAN ports to a LAN port on the 3347. as far as the netopia is concerned, anything using the wireless AP is just hitting another switch.
