It's for 7 years. They haven't stated how much service is after 7 years - would think about $25/month. The nice thing is the first resident who pays the $300, someone else who moves in before the 7 years does not need to pay another $300. So it's more like a home improvement fee to get the fiber in, not really a service fee - at least for 7 years. And that's assuming Google stays in the ISP biz for that long.
