Starz VOD stinks!

I wanted to watch Resident Evil Afterlife, which is aired on Starz 10 times a week, not there. Only a SD version is avail. on Flex View for a hilarious 16.99!!!

Most of the premium channels have this inexplicable problem (along with other stupidity like airing a movie in HD but only having SD on demand). I don't think Starz is the worst offender either. At least they can be bothered to split up their HD and SD VOD offerings, unlike Showtime

I have noticed this with OD too, and it's not just the premium channels. It seems the majority of programming is only available in SD. Last night I wanted to catch up on some old episodes of NYC 22 on CBS and it was only available in SD.

Technically the movie is NOT available in SD, it's only via FlexView, which I am not paying a laughable price for. Starz does do early premieres on VOD for their movies, but then they're not on VOD. I have to think it's a money reason. Looks like I'll be watching tonight at 8:20.

They most certainly do. For example, Collateral is currently in rotation on Cinemax (and maxgo). VOD? Nope

Which is why Comcast's decision to remove premium HD feeds and feel they're replaced with VOD offerings borders on the absurd.
