I need to extract all distribution groups and their owners from an Active Directory domain and its sub domains (i.e. john.corp and suck.john.corp, bravo.john.corp, etc). Take a look at the free PowerGUI tool over at »www.powergui.org . There are quite a few addons (they call them "power packs") that provide extra functions. The Active Directory power pack has report functions that may help you.
