Videotron changing internet packages, does it affect us

reading about it here

TGV15 : Passe à TGV 20
If Videotron abolished their 15mbps offering, does Ebox have to as well? While I am all for more speed, I'm pretty happy with what I have and no doubt this would change what EBox is billed for

We talked about it in eBox's forum too, here: »30Mb a 3mb Upload

Basically, all the packages are remaining. They're just getting a speed bonus, which eBox customers are getting as well (some already has it).
Here's what we found out yet:
8/1 --> 10/1.5
15/1.5 --> 20/2
30/2 --> 30/3
60/3 --> 60/?

Thanks, but as the whole billing scheme is now capacity based won't this be costing Ebox a lot more money as the pipes can potentially fill up a lot faster?

This is more a curiosity thing, not a doom and gloom type question :P

We get more for our money for sure. It might affect eBox, but they told us that they weren't planing price raises anytime soon.

And there is so much competition that even a dollar or 2 can make a big difference at this point. It might not be worth it.
