Efing attI live in miami, isaac was just rain and a little wind where I live. That Sunday my telephone and dsl dies (connection was finicky) I called on Monday, they say a tech would come the latest would be Friday. Last wendsday a tech arrived and informed me that the damage was outside my house, inside wiring was good, that on Thursday a line tech would lay a new cable from the box outside to my house. Well the tech arrived on Friday and it was the same time of tech as the one on Wednesday, in other words nothing could not be done.
Today is Saturday, still no phone not internet, called Att several times and now a tech MAY show up on Monday from 8 to 6 and they cannot guarantee it since Monday is a holiday. So I have to wait a week for their mistakes, my mom is in the hospital very ill, I am the proxy and since the hospital has no way to reach me and make a decision concerning my mom. Att and village of pinecrest doesn't allow towers from and other carrier, therefore I rely on WiFi calling to get incoming calls in my cellphone. I told them that If my momdies because the hospital could not reach me to make an emergency decision I would sue their assess. Stupid duopoly, there is no competition, nothing.
Ef you att |

Sorry to hear about your Mom. I am not feeling the luv from ATT either. Just contacted TimeWarner (different evil) and may get their basic internet access (I want to use OOMA telephone) for $20/month. |

Yup they bought off the legislature to deregulate. Before 2011 they would have been required to have the POTS up within a set time. |

I would switch that too... start out with a prepaid kit from ATT so you got 2 cellphones that they can contact you and you can test that out. if you like it, then ditch tmobile and completely switch to ATT postpaid. These days, internet and cellphone are more and more becoming a necessity. I got Comcast biz at home to guarantee my internet uptime. I got an iphone4 on att and wife has verizon. |
