This is why I'm still with DSL. High speeds 24/24, 7/7, 365/365.

Until Bell neglects upgrades or an equipment failure occurs both of which has happened in the past.

25 meg down is nothing to brag about either. I don't really care much about the upload though Rogers should soon be releasing 8 and 10 meg upload.

and having a cap is something to brag about? I'd rather take 28Mbps down or 25Mbps down whether cable or VDSL2 with unlimited with TSI over Rogers at much higher speeds. The caps make the connection unusable.

That's if you don't pay the overage. I just pay the $50 and as of now I am up to 577.46 GB of usage.

The OP who lives in London, is likely getting slow speeds due to overloaded nodes from students coming back. I just said this on another thread, but if you have a D2 modem on the 18mb+ package.. that's your issue. D2 modems I wish TSI would STOP selling for anything over 12mb because although they are able to do 30mb, the Rogers part of the network just can't handle it during peak times. D3 has channel bonding and it most times can eliminate slow downs during peak.

unless you really need the speed, I'm good with my 28x1 300 gig connection. Unlimited with TSI would be cheaper at 577 gigs no?

I thought Rogers was bumping maximum overage charges to $100.

this isn't Rogers, this is a Teksavvy thread. So the overage charges shouldn't matter.

Not unless somebody with a Rogers connection is still thinking that the max overage is $50.
