 | [Availability] Broward County FL PPPOE Outage? Hi all,
Anyone else having PPPOE connection problems in Broward County, FL? Neither router or direct PPPOE connection from OS X or Win 7 is working.
Last time I called AT&T over a network problem, they told me that they didn't support OSX, so it must be a problem on my end.

 | reply to Floridadude There have been a significant increase of people posting about problems in Florida. It seems like they are having problems statewide. And its been going on for a few weeks now. |

 | reply to Floridadude I agree. After nearly a decade of great service, AT&T (Bellsouth) DSL has started to show a number of cracks in the service.
In the last 6 months, I've seen a real increase in basic network screwups...PPPOE authentication server outages, problems after requesting a speed increase, email issues and just tonight, the email server is rejecting passwords (again).
I wouldn't be so grouchy about it if I could get a simple status update. I gave up trying to call Tech Support for network problems...one lady told me the network wasn't the problem, but the fact that they didn't support OSX, and that was the issue. . After 45 minutes of round and round, I finally got someone on the phone who knew what they were talking about, and they were "oh, yea, we have a network issue in your area, it'll be fixed by morning".
