I'll probably upgrade to the 5 once there is a JB for it... My 2 year old iPhone 4 feels sluggish since upgrading to iOS 5.1.1 (I was on 4.3.1 until a few months ago. |

Its her line this time so I will be getting the 5 and she will get my 4s

If the leaked photos are the real photos (and for the first time, I hope they aren't), then I will need to do some serious thinking before upgrading to the 5.
I'm thinking of the Galaxy 3, but I've read online that the bluetooth doesn't work with my car, which is a major problem.

Does the name really matter????
I bought mine for the total package - IOS, hardware, ecosystem, etc.
As for the post comparing the leaked photos and hinting they wouldnt get one if it looked like that - what are you hoping for?? A wide pocket buster that you cant reach the other side with one finger??
The beauty of this design is the simplicity of use....
If I wanted a non-functional, plastic POS I would still have my old BB or flip phone.....

And then what happens next year? The New iPhone S? Or New iPhone 2?
I dont like what they did with the "New iPad" name, everyone just calls it iPad 3 anyway.
Just keep going with the numbers, because how else are you gonna differentiate the models?
I think desktops/laptops are different, because they've always been many iterations of them with the same name.

And now there will always be many iterations of the iPad with the same name.
The numbering is not sustainable. If they stuck with that, we'd have the Mac 4,194,304k instead of just "the new iMac".
It'll lead to confusion at first, but somehow the original iPod, the iPod nano, and iPod touch line has managed to survive in the consumer electronics space without numbers after the name.
