Lone Wolf posted : TMo says you can save up to $1,500 during the life of a two year contract if you switch to them with an unlocked phone. They neglected to say that if you switch from any postpaid carrier, including themselves, to a prepaid carrier you can save big bucks. I figure I saved over $1600 in the past 2 years by using an unlocked phone and prepaid service.

Hopefully, someday the USA carriers will ditch the CDMA technology and join the rest of the world with GSM (which has about 75% of the world's phones).
