I would agree with you UP UNTIL the point where they released the information they stole. Once they released it, then they are just as bad, if not worse, than the FBI.
Except that there'd have been nothing to steal if the FBI didn't have it first.
Again, unlike the situation in which a private citizen leaves his house unlocked and then it gets robbed, I blame the government here for collecting this information in the first place. They should bear full responsibility for this.
