Like the looks and specs too.. and the secondary device you can attach ethernet enabled devices to, so you can take advantage of the ac speeds. Just wondered, though... Has cisco/linksys backed off the forced use of cloud connect to administrate the routers? Have read mixed things.

Cisco doesn't automatically install the cloud firmware anymore through automatic update, its just an optional download. New routers being shipped out I'm going to assume will have the cloud firmware automatically installed by default (if they haven't been sitting on store shelves since before June) but I think it can be downgraded to the classic interface by downloading the firmware off the website like they did for the EA4500, EA3500, and EA2700.

You get choice to use internal local network only mgmt or allow cloud. This router is also wall mountable. The official Linksys Store has this wireless-ac router + wireless-ac adapter/bridge at special price to save $30.
