As a warlock I suppose Jade Spirit is better than the Elemental Force enchant. Sadly the 25% spirit bonus is useless though. Any idea of how long each proc lasts?

did you take echo of the elements as a talent if not thats possibly why, did you get the glyph of telluric currents to get mana back, are you still flame shocking first, unleash elements with lava proc.

Mages lacked mana regen in the last Tier? I beg to differ.

In frost (PvP) you could do anything with all your mana and have enough till you died.

In Arcane it was still pretty boring but at least there were two different phases that; the mana burn phase and the regen phase. Mana wasn't an issue.

In Fire (IMO the most fun) you couldn't go cross eyed playing this spec. You had to get timing right, you DID watch your mana for longer fights. You did use your mana gem for mana instead of just a SP buff (arcane). but overall, mana still wasn't an issue.

Seem mana using classes right now have NO issue with regen whatsoever. Frost mages are pretty good in PvE now too!

I think you read wrong.
I'm stating what Blizz said.

the last tier (ie you can't get till 90) is needed for regen so for 85-89 they doubled base regen.

Right now at 85, Fire has infinite mana because Blizz doubled the base regen for all mages.

Blizz saw (or believed) that till you could get the regen tier (ie the lvl90 one) that arcane mages would be hurting from 5.0.4 till mop hits, so as some are still raiding at 85 they doubled the base regen for mages for 85-89

I didn't say lacked in the last tier but lacked without the last tier. (big difference there.)

As is is a fire mage at 85(in 5.0.4) simpily can't run out of mana, I can go the whole maddness fight and still be at 99%+ mana (base regen at 85 is over 11k per5)

I look forward to 90 and seeing how well that last tier will do, I fully expect it won't be as good as the nutty regen at 85, and that I'll go back to using mana gems, and evocation.

as a side note I'm liking the regen my low level priest has (lvl69 atm) Before 5.0.4 in hellfire I had to keep some mana pots on me but after 5.0.4 my priest doesn't need to use them anymore, though unlike my mage the priest can go OOM it just takes a little while.

After the patch, I became curious how Disc played out on my priest. I have 4pc T13 Sahdow gear that I reforged for Disc and healed a few HoTs. I have no issues with healing in all that hit gear and my Atonement Smite/Holy fire hits are guaranteed. I have 17% hit still even after reforges lol

metta priest get auto hit at 15% now even without hit on the gear, same with druids so you could reforge even more hit to through put or mana regen you wanted to

I'd reforge a lot of hit out, as 15 is the new 17.

Unless you wanta go after the rabbit, and want tons of extra hit to hit a +8lvl mob. Which IIRC its exponential so you'd need like 50% to hit the rabbit reliability.

BTW it seems (although I can't find the passive for it) that healers get an auto 15% hit.

My lvl69 holy priest with zero hit gear has exactly 15% hit, and I need to learn to heal on it, the last time I tried healing was the diremaul, and got disgusted with the tanks for ganking the group.

And now I have a bunch more healing spells and not yet sure what I should be using, I was going to que for a random Wrath dungeon but opted to wait till I know WTF I was doing for healing.

negative, shadow still needs spell hit, this auto hit only applies to healing specs

Ok I never played shadow I've leveled my priest as holy with an unused offspec of disc.

disc used the glyph for smite and fire hit, thats baked into the spec now

priest Tier has the hit not spirit on it. I have a couple pieces that I could use for both Disc and Shadow but most were only shadow. btw, like how shadow is now. a lot of MS procs and it seems like every MB cast i can then use DP. maybe it's just me but it seems that way

I like how mobs can't kill me.

Ok LK in howling fjord did but that was my fault for walking up to him.

Other wise I just case power word shield and if its a tough mob I toss on renew before the shield drops and smite/holt fire/ect till win.

Its been so easy to level a priest, my mage died ALOT, pull to many mobs on the mage and dead, pull to many on the priest and it'll just take longer.
