Will they also change the iO logo in their cable box guide/software to this as well? |

I've started to see the new ads on tv today. Both via an over the air channel as well as a local ad insert on TBS. |

The banners on channels 99 and 100 are really tough on the eyes with lots of flourescent backgrounds and white characters. You cant even read them. |

Spot 1 ... Those ads will probably run for a limited time. For years after the ads, people will just think it's a bad logo. They need a slogan to go with the logo and they need to show it in every ad, but changing the logo is even better. I thought "iO" was bad too. I don't know what it means, I'm not sure how to say it, and I'd have to do some research to refresh my memory on how to use something like that at the beginning of a sentence. I think you're supposed to avoid putting it at the beginning of a sentence. Optimum TV is an improvement. |

now if only Dolan would change that archaic and old CABLEVISION logo.. it's so outdated! |

iO is not the TV service anymore, it has been rebranded to Optimum TV. So they would not update that logo. I am guessing they are waiting for the new IMG to come out in October to change it over to Optimum TV. |

It's even a story on their home page. The story is really a link to one of the ads I previously linked. |

I like the campaign better than the constant " io versus Fios" ads that the last campaign seemed to be centered around. If they truly want to be remembered as the best TV, phone and internet company, they need to step up to the plate and get more channels in HD. I still think their video service is not as good as Direct TV or Fios. |

Heh. I was wondering when it was going to get changed on BBR/DSLR. Apparently it has. |

I'm surprised with this move..I wonder if it will affect the News12 logo at all because I'm pretty sure that little circle in back of/surrounding the 12 is supposed to be the now old Optimum "O" |
|
|
Indeed it is the iO imblazened into the News 12 logo. My bet is that's going to get ugly as well. |

I don't think the logo looks bad, but it looks out of place. Also why the does dot change color every few times you load optimum.com? |

I tried to look up the new logo at » www.uspto.gov to see if they enumerated the colors, but I couldn't find any registration for it. |

It looks like it may have taken an intern or "someone's cousin" maybe half hour to come up with this amateurish garbage. Even the kerning is off, and that would have been the only style decision to be made! An insult to real designers everywhere. |

Kerning looks good to me. |

My biggest regret is that I can no longer say "It's either Quiznos, or it's not" when I see that logo, unless they go to "quiznos." for a logo too. |
